Your Role
As the Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in shaping Amazon’s voice and presence on social media. You will work within the marketing department to develop strategies that enhance our brand image, promote our products, engage our audience, and grow our follower base across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with Amazon’s goals and branding initiatives.
- Manage day-to-day social media activities, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and analyzing performance metrics.
- Conduct in-depth market research to stay updated on social media trends, tools, and best practices within e-commerce.
- Engage with our community by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and authentic manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, public relations, and marketing, to ensure brand consistency.
- Identify partnership opportunities with influencers and industry leaders to amplify our brand’s reach.
- Analyze social media performance and report insights and recommendations to improve engagement and reach.
- Develop and oversee social media advertising campaigns to drive site traffic and increase sales.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in social media management, preferably within a corporate or agency environment.
- Proficient in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and embrace new ideas and approaches.
- Experience in paid social media advertising is a plus.
